Laura joined us in September 2022 after moving here from Connecticut. She likes to do anything outdoors, as long as it’s warm. She also loves spending time with family and friends in her free time.
Chrystal
Head Nurse/Coordinator
Chrystal has been a veterinary nurse for 27 years, 20 of them at Crestview. She enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of the animals and their owners. She is passionate about giving pets a voice in their medical care while providing the best care possible. Seeing the deep love between pets and their people is what keeps Chrystal inspired every day. She enjoys helping the animals and has a special interest in caring for fractious cats, exotics and wildlife. When not at work, she enjoys being with her family, hiking, camping and loving and cuddling her own animals.
Hanna
Registered Veterinary Technician
Hannah has been part of the Crestview family for six years. Outside of work, Hanna is a member of the NC Mountain Search and Rescue Team and enjoys rock climbing, hiking and traveling with her husband and their husky, Sadie.

Krista
Veterinary Assistant
Krista has worked at Crestview for two years; she enjoys helping animals and spending time with her coworkers. She graduated from the Gaston College Veterinary Program and is studying to become licensed as an RVT. She has a 5-year-old pit mix named Simba and a 3-year-old bearded dragon named Godzilla. When not at work, she likes to make crafts of all sorts, be outside and spend time with her husband, Justin, and family and friends.
Hunter
Veterinary Assistant
Hunter has worked at Crestview since 2019 and enjoys happy puppies and kittens as well as helping animals in need. She likes to make people laugh and lives each day to the fullest. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dachshund mix, Ella. Hunter and Ella love to go hiking or kayaking.
Abbie
Veterinary Assistant
Abbie has been with us for two years, is passionate about animals and is pursuing a degree in veterinary technology at APP State. She is also the music director at her church and enjoys participating in community events and sharing her love of music. Abbie has her own furry friends at home, including a Great Dane named Sophie, two cats named Peaches and Punky, a rabbit named Penelope, and a North American Spotted Haflinger named Waffles.
Alicia
Animal Care Coordinator
Alicia has been in the animal field for 15 years and has three years of experience in shelter medicine. She enjoys spending her free time with her lifelong partner, Jonathan, and her 8-year-old daughter, Adalyn. Alicia has three dogs and one cat. Peanut is a 14-year-old pit/boxer mix, Daisy is an 11-year-old Spaniel mix, Maverick is a 4-year-old hound mix and Bo is a 10-year-old Domestic Long Hair.
Chase
Animal Care Team
Chase has always loved animals and has a special bond with his pets; Atlas, an 11-year-old black German shepherd; Athena, a 3-year-old calico tabby, and Apollo, a 6-week-old domestic shorthair/Maine Coon. When Chase isn’t working, he enjoys delving into the world of science and expanding his knowledge. Chase has a particular interest in space and ocean-related topics, and he brings his love for animals and science to work every day.
Shea
Animal Care Team
Shea joined the Crestview team in June 2022, and she enjoys making sure our patients are comfortable and well cared for during their stay. She is a senior at McDowell Early College where she is obtaining an associate degree in science as well as her high school diploma. While Shea is not working or at school, she enjoys playing video games with her friends and spending time with her three dogs, Lucy, Panda and Bluestar as well as her two cats, Cutie and Muffin.
Skyler
Animal Care Team
Skyler joined the Crestview team in November 2022. Her compassion for animals is evident in her work, and she takes great care to ensure that the animals in her care are healthy and happy. She enjoys spending her free time with her furry friends, an 8-month-old Texas heeler named Opie, a mini-Australian shepherd called Millie, a Feist mix named Nova Jean, and four cats she loves to play with and cuddle.

Katie joined the Crestview team in September 2021. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Brent, and their two dogs, Bobby and Molly. They like to go kayaking, boating and camping in the Smokey Mountains.
Tina
Client Relations
With over three years of experience working with animals, Tina has a passion for helping animals and their humans. When she isn’t working, she loves spending quality time with her family and two children. Tina has a 13-year-old Chihuahua named Gracie, a 4-year-old Boxer named Luke, and a cat named Ms. Whiskers.
